  11. Okay, time to ask a question that will probably make me look really
  12. stupid, but oh, well...
  13.         I'm running AmiTCP 2.3 on my 2000, and I'd like to try out the
  14. AmiTCP 4.0 demo to see if I should buy it. So, I download
  15. AmiTCP-demo-40.lha, but 'lx,' 'lha,' and 'lz' always tell me that the file
  16. is a corrupted archive. So, I made sure I'd downloaded it as a binary. I
  17. tried downloading it from my shell account with ZModem. Didn't work. I
  18. FTP'd directly from several different Aminet mirrors around the world
  19. directly to my computer. Didn't work. Can somebody PLEASE help me? This is
  20. so frustrating.
  21.         I've tried all the standard stuff. I've used old and new versions
  22. of all the compression programs. I've tried FixLhA. All to no avail. Any
  23. help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
